Studio Fire Sale

Welcome!

After a year of searching for full-time employment from an unexpected layoff, I've reached a transitional period requiring interim financial support. The works on this page are priced to sell quickly (offering you exceptional value). Proceeds will sustain me during the coming months as I continue my professional journey.

Despite these challenging times, I'm continually inspired by the power of community and the generosity that reminds us of our shared humanity—values we must cherish now and always.

About the Work

The Perpetual Vacay series began in 2013 during my residency at Flux Factory and evolved into increasingly complex photo collages through 2016. This body of work examines 19th century Romantic painting traditions (particularly those of Caspar David Friedrich) through a contemporary lens of technological mediation and cultural dissonance. The source photographs—all original content captured during my travels—were printed as multiples at local pharmacies before being transformed into the intricate collages presented here.

This series has been exhibited at prestigious venues including Regina Rex in the Lower East Side (in a group show with artists such as Lauren Clay) and in a curated Harlem apartment show organized by Hilde Helphenstein (a.k.a. Jerry Gogosian), where it was well-received by collectors and critics alike. Additionally, one work from the series (Album Cover) was featured on contemporary classical composer Brooks J. Friedrickson's album "Small Works," designed during the same period.
