When I was living with my father outside of Orlando, Florida we used to take adventures around the area—in my hopes that he would get interested in his new town and to stave off some of my boredom while I search for employment. We began taking adventures to Cocoa Beach to watch the sunset together. This was the start of the sunrise tours and further investigation into a new kind of romanticism. The caveat was that no phones were allowed and that you had to just sit and watch the sunrise together. The tours took on different iterations around South Carolina, New York City, Berlin, and Upstate New York.
